All About Neo
Neo hair design is the brain child of Owen Roberts and Nia Griffiths. They have over 30 years experience in hairdressing alongside seminars and show work. Both are currently involved in developing the skills of stylists through Matrix and Sebastian artists programmes where they pass on invaluable knowledge to the next generation.
They have attended courses in Customer Service, Colour Technology, Precision Cutting, Razor Cutting, Permanent Waving, Permanent Hair Straightening, Balmain Hair Extensions, GHD Creative Curls and Creative Hair Cutting with Lee Stafford, Jo Jordan and Terry (the salon).
The team are Tracey and Lucy. We are a team of talented, creative individuals who pride ourselves in our ability to understand what is important, and that is you.
This down to earth treasure in the heart of Whitchurch Rd, Cardiff boasts a growing list of loyal regular customers. With knowledgable staff offering the best in hair, as well as organic colour and perscriptive treatments.
Nia Griffiths
I started my career at 16 being trained by World Champions. The training was tough but gave me a valuable insight into competition work and photo shoots.
Having remained working alongside hairdressing champions for many years I decided to open Neo Hair Design in 2003. This has been the most empowering period of my life giving me the freedom to totally explore my creativity.
Outside of the home I'm happiest in the open air, usually in a field or up a mountain! When I'm at home, I enjoy brewing my own wine - I love it!
Owen Roberts
Hailing from Mid-Wales and moving to Cardiff in 1992, I began my hairdressing training at a well known and popular salon called Albertos. I met Nia whilst working at another salon and we both felt the passion to develop what is now Neo Hair Design.
Together we have been involved in live hairdressing shows in Bristol and built Neo Hair Design to be the success is it today.
Self-confessed petrol-head, I love my bikes and rock climbing. I even cycled the Pyrenees mountains for Scope.
Tracey Francis
Hi, I'm Tracey. I am one of the stylists here at Neo Hair Design. I've been with Nia and Owen for 5 years. The three of us worked together in another salon before Nia and Owen teamed up and opened Neo six years ago. I've been in and out of the industry since the 80's (you do the math but don't tell me =) )
I love what I do and the fact that I'm always learning new stuff through various courses and shows.
